1. Brett Favre – complete jackass. i hope he has a terrible season. 2. Michigan – the cesspool of the world. 3. Erectile dysfunction commercials – seriously, i don’t want to see that. i don’t care. 4. Having no money – yeah, it just sucks.

After my post about Favre yesterday, I was kinda hoping I wouldn’t hear anything else about it for a while. I was WRONG. I turn on Sportscenter this morning and what is the first thing I see? Brett Favre in a Jets uniform and the anchor is talking to John Clayton. It was promptly muted. [...]
Brett Favre should stay retired

There’s rumours going around that Brett Favre is going to try to return to football, potentially with the Minnesota Vikings. Just knowing that there is a possibility of a will he/won’t he summer ahead makes me want to bang my head against the wall. Brett, please stay retired. You have nothing left to prove on [...]
The NFL draft sucks

I hate the NFL draft. It is so ridiculously hyped and overblown and time-consuming. I hate turning on Sportscenter in the morning and hearing people hem and haw over who so-and-so should take in the draft (they even do it on the clock! how charming). Honestly, you’re telling me that these teams are taking players [...]

Another college basketball season has come to a completely unfulfilling end. North Carolina trounced Michigan State last night, 89-72, to win the program’s fifth NCAA title. Honestly, I was hoping Michigan State would win, but I didn’t care that much if UNC won – all I really wanted was a close game. Well, I guess what [...]

Whoop! The Penn State Nittany Lions won the NIT Championship, defeating Baylor 69-63. Pretty sweet win for the Lions as it’s only the programs second-ever postseason title. The victory is great for the team because it will give them confidence going into next season. Way to go State!

20 minutes until the 2009 NCAA Tournament kicks off! I love this time of the year. It’s like Christmas – only with more surprises. It makes me giddy. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! My final four picks: Louisville, Missouri, North Carolina and Pitt.

The Bison are going dancin!

North Dakota State defeated Oakland in the Summit League Championship last night, 66-64, to clinch a spot in the NCAA tournament. It is the first year of eligibility for the Bison. After trailing the entire game – the Bison closed with a 16-6 run and Ben Woodside hit a jumper from the top of the [...]
